Hi All,


I am planning to be camping at Loyahanna Dam in Saltsburg, Pa beginning June 16th for a few days. The campground close by is Bush Recreation area and is a Federal park. Fees are : Primitive site - $16 per night and Water/Electric Site – $22 per night. This is a nice area at the foothills of the Laurel Highlands mountains in PA with lots to do. Click the LINK for the web site and all the information and directions to the campground. All are welcome if you are looking to camp during this time.


I have been a little under the weather and feeling that I will be 100% by then for the camp trip. If, anything changes I will post it to the blog. So, maybe check if you are planning to stop by. " Let's Keep Em Rollin " and enjoy the gret outdoors.

There has been some changes in the directions to the campground for the SSVC Spring Camp Out due to the exit bridge being replaced. Please go to the Camp Out page for all the updated information and directions, if you plan on coming. Updated VIN info

I have updated the locating VIN page on the Resources. This now includes more information concerning the newer Scotty(80 and up), which uses the standard VIN format and the location of the VIN.

Hi all,

I added a scrolling box on the web site for the upcoming events that are listed on the SSVC Event Calendar. There are none listed for March so this is for April 2009. This will enable a quick check right there on the web site and you can click the links for more info. The info will be updated for each month. As always, you can go to the SSVC Event Calendar to view future months to see what is scheduled. Hope you enjoy the new feature.

Hi all,

I just created this blog today for the Serro Scotty Vintage Campers web site. Hopefully this will be 'the area' where you can come and leave your comments and suggestions for the web site. Please bear with me as this is kind of new to me and kind of like a web site but different. I will read the posts regularly and answer any with questions. I will take any suggestions and comments into consideration and reply to the author of the post.

So, here we go with something new for the Serro Scotty Vintage Campers. I hope things will go smoothly as time goes on and improvements are made.
